Outkast comeback to include performances at over 40 music festivals

LOS ANGELES

The Grammy-winning rap duo -- made up of Andre "Andre 3000" Benjamin and Antwan "Big Boi" Patton -- announced that after headlining the Coachella Valley Arts & Music Festival in April, they will be performing at more than 40 music festivals around the world throughout the spring and summer, including the Firefly Music Festival in Delaware.

Benjamin and Patton announced last week they were coming off hiatus and performing together for the first time in 10 years at Coachella.

"Returning to the stage together is the most exciting way for us to thank everyone for their 20 years of supporting Outkast," said Benjamin.

The duo never formally broke up but stopped working together after the release of the 2006 soundtrack, "Idlewild."
