A new trailer for the second half of the fourth season of "The Walking Dead" was released on Friday, Jan. 17, about three weeks before the midseason premiere of the hit AMC zombie series.
Spoiler alert! The last time we saw Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his friends, they all got separated into groups following an attack on their prison home by the Governor and later, a swarm of Walkers (zombies).
Grimes is currently with his son Carl (Chandler Riggs) and does not know his infant daughter Judith's whereabouts, while a bloody baby car seat was seen. Grimes is seen firing a gun near the entrace to the prison.
Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) ended up running off with Beth Greene (Emily Kinney), whose dad Hershel (Scott Wilson) was executed by the Governor in front of everybody. They two are actually running together in a frield, presumably from someone, as seen in recent teaser clips.
Beth is seen crying in the trailer, while the warrior Michonne (Danai Gurira) also appears to be in severe emotional distress (although to give her credit, she does appear to have slaughtered a particularly large group of Walkers). Also spotted - a Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun), lying on the group with a bloody face.
The series returns on Feb. 9. Watch the trailer below.
