Kelly Clarkson better make way for another vocal diva in her household!
The singer announced on her official Twitter account on Jan. 20 that she is having a girl. She and husband Brandon Blackstock announced their pregnancy on Nov. 19, 2013, nearly a month following their October wedding that same year.
Clarkson shared her excitement in a hilarious tweet to her more than 9 million Twitter followers, saying, "We just found out we're having a girl officially! I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!"
Clarkson spoke about her pregnancy during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in December, where she said she was having a rough time with morning sickness.
"It is so upsetting when I ask women 'cause they'll be like, 'Oh I had...you're gonna love this...' and I'm like, 'Oh, were you sick the first ...?' and they're like, 'No!' and I want to like hit all of them with my car. I vomit a good dozen times a day. Like, it's like bad."
"That's the thing too, you're not attractive when you're pregnant," she added. "Everybody tells you like, 'You glow and your hair is pretty and your nails are pretty.' That is total crap. My nails are short, my hair still falls out, it's not all lush and beautiful and I have no glow -- unless it's something left over from a bathroom trip 'cause it's horrible."
Clarkson also spoke about her pregnancy in an interview with Parade magazine. She said in regards to gaining weight during her pregnancy: "Everybody calls me fat all the time, so I can't wait to have a reason, instead of everybody just being a jerk."
