Authorities responded to the Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th off of East Ventura Boulevard at about 6:20 a.m. Monday. Four suspects wearing ski masks and dark clothing entered the store from a back door as employees were arriving to work, deputies said.
The workers were forced to the ground, deputies said, and one of the workers was ordered to open a safe.
The suspects then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise. Deputies say no weapons were seen.
No one was injured during the robbery. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS. A $1,000 reward is available for information that leads to an arrest.
