OTRC: 'Bachelor' wedding: Sean Lowe, Catherine Giudici talk plans - 7 facts

All that glitters may be gold at the upcoming "Bachelor" wedding -- and this one will air live.

The star of the ABC dating show's 17th season, Sean Lowe, and fiancee and winner Catherine Giudici will tie the knot in a televised ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore in Santa Barbara, California. The event is set to air on the network on Sunday, Jan. 26. at 8 p.m. ET.

Past "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" couples have had their weddings televised but this marks the first one that will be broadcast live.

Lowe, 30, Giudici, 27, talked to OTRC.com about their upcoming nuptials ABC's recent Winter 2014 Television Critics Association event. Check out 7 facts about their wedding.

1. Wedding planning stress? Not for Sean.

"I'm the groom. I'm not stressed," Lowe told OTRC.com. "She had all the pressure on her."

"It's been really easy to work with such a great team," Giudici said. "It's probably just now hitting me that we're getting married 'cause we're in L.A. right now. But it's been pretty stress-free."

2. Stress over the fact that the wedding will be televised? Nope.

"Really not nervous about it being televised," Lowe said. "Everything that we've done so far as a couple has been televised."

He also said he hoped that 20 years from now, the two will be able to show footage of the wedding to their kids.

3. The wedding colors reflect the place where Lowe proposed.

Lowe proposed to Giudici on the season 17 finale of "The Bachelor" in Thailand. The episode was filmed in November 2012.

"It's definitely going to be centered around golds and nudes," Giudici told OTRC.com about the wedding's theme color. "Something very fresh-feeling but it's going to reflect how we got engaged in Thailand. Lot of gold."

4. Wedding guests include former "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" contestants.

The guest lists includes:

  • Married couples Trista and Ryan Sutter ("The Bachelorette" season 1), Ashley and J.P. Rosenbaum ("The Bachelorette" season 7) and Jason and Molly Mesnick ("The Bachelor" season 13)
  • Engaged couple Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried ("The Bachelorette" season 9)
  • Gormer contestant Deanna ("The Bachelorette" season 4) and husband Stephen Stagliano
  • Leslie Murphy and Daniella McBride (both from "The Bachelor" season 17)
  • Arie Luyendyk, John Wolfner, Charlie Grogan and Jef Holm (all four from "The Bachelorette" season 8)
  • The current star of "The Bachelor" season 18, Juan Pablo Galavis.
  • 5. The wedding gown and rings ...

    Giudici will be wearing a Monique Lhuillier design, as will her bridesmaids. She and Lowe have obtained wedding bands designed by Neil Lane, who also designed her 3.15-carat cushion-cut, halo-style diamond and platinum engagement ring

    6. The kids in the wedding party

    Lowe's niece and nephew, Kensington and Smith, will serve as the flower girl and ring bearer, while Giudic's nephew Dylan will be be a second ring bearer.

    7. The cake(s)

    The wedding cake will be designed by Duff of the Los Angeles-based bakery Charm City Cakes West. He is also designing a 3D groom's cake in the shape of the couple's dogs, Lola and Ellie.
