The Wanted have announced that they will take a temporary hiatus following the completion of their upcoming "Word of Mouth" tour.
The British-Irish boy band shared the news of their official Twitter account on Jan. 22, linking to a statement posted on their official website.
"This tour will be their [The Wanted] last for a while as Tom, Max, Jay, Siva and Nathan have collectively decided to take time to pursue personal endeavors following the tour's conclusion. The band wants to stress to their fans that they will continue on as The Wanted and look forward to many successful projects together in the future. They thank their fans for their continued love and support and look forward to seeing them on tour."
The Wanted also expressed their thanks to their more than 1 million Twitter followers, saying, "We just want to say thanks again to you all for your massive love and support, it means so much to us. We love you guys! Thanks for all the tweets x."
The Wanted, who are managed by Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun, are perhaps best known for their 2011 single "Glad You Came," which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. They also starred on the E! reality series "The Wanted Life," which aired in 2013.
