Dean McDermott, Tori Spelling's husband, has entered rehab.
A spokesperson for the actor/reality star confirmed the news to OTRC.com on Jan. 23. McDermott released the following statement, where he says he voluntarily checked himself into treatment for "health and personal issues."
"I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I've caused my family. I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues," McDermott said in his statement.
"I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves," he concluded.
McDermott's rehab news comes on the heels of rumors that he and Spelling's marriage is on the rocks. On Dec. 26, Spelling took to her blog to share a photo of her four children with McDermott and wrote a message about the holidays signed by herself, her four children and McDermott.
McDermott and Spelling married in 2006. They welcomed their first son together, Liam, in March 2007, daughter Stella in June 2008, daughter Hattie in October 2011 and another son, Finn, in August 2012.
