Do you prefer David Beckham #Covered or #Uncovered? With #BriefsOn or #BriefsOff?
The soccer star appears in a new David Beckham Bodywear Spring 2014 ad campaign and its first commercial is set to debut during Super Bowl XLVIII on Feb. 2. Two versions were filmed and vans can vote online to determine which one of the 30-second videos they prefer to see during the NFL championship. (Spoiler alert -- Beckham wears briefs in both - watch teasers for the ad above.)
"There [are] two different endings," Beckham, who has been a spokesmodel for the clothing brand since 2012, said in an interview provided by H&M. "I think I know what one is gonna end up being shown, which is even more nerve-wracking."
"Obviously going it on the rooftop for three days kind of almost naked was a little bit cold but a lot of fun," he added.
The commercial was directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, who helmed the 2011 film "Drive," and sees Beckham wearing his signature briefs and performing stunts, such as ziplining across rooftops and scaling buildings.
"I loved working with David for his new campaign," Refn said in an H&M statement on Thursday. "He is a natural in front of the camera, and was fearless when performing his own stunts. The campaign is funny, smart and spectacular, and shows the many different sides of David's personality."
Beckham is also promoting the new campaign by making a personal appearance at H&M's flagship store in Times Square in New York City on Feb. 1.
Fans can choose their favorite version of the ad from Jan. 27 to Feb. 1 at midnight on H&M's website. The winning commercial will air the next day during the second quarter of the Super Bowl.
