Actor Channing Tatum, who showed off his hot, shirtless body as a stripper in the 2012 movie "Magic Mike" and when he worked as an exotic dancer in real life, says he is currently "very fat and happy."
The 33-year-old star, who was once named "Sexiest Man Alive" by People magazine, made his comments on an episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Thursday, Feb. 6.

1. Channing Tatum dances with Ellen DeGeneres.
Wearing a button-down black shirt and pants, Tatum stepped out on stage to the tune of the 1996 R&B song "Pony" by Ginuwine, who gave his own stripper-like performance in his music video. Host Ellen DeGeneres than danced for a few seconds and Tatum joined her.
2. Channing Tatum: I am very "fappy."
"See, what you've gone and done is since 'Magic Mike,' whenever you dance, we think you're gonna take your clothes off," host Ellen DeGeneres said.
"No, you definitely don't want that right now. "Right now, what me and my wife like to call it -- I am very fappy," he said, referring to his "Step Up" co-star Jenna Dewan-Tatum. "I'm very fat and happy right now."
"Just for once, I've been working for two straight years, and now it's some really needed down time," he added.
Tatum and Jonah Hill recently filmed "22 Jump Street," the sequel to the hit 2011 comedy movie "21 Jump Street," which was based on a 1980s series starring Johnny Depp. The new movie is set for release on June 13.
3. Channing Tatum's baby has excellent music taste.
Tatum and his wife are also keeping busy with their baby daughter, Everly, who was born in June of last year (see PHOTO).
"She's 8 months old now and now ... she's saying, 'Da da da da da," Tatum told DeGeneres.
He also revealed that Everly likes to fall asleep to music by Drake and the Prince song "The Most Beautiful Girl In The World."

4. On passing on the "Sexiest Man Alive" torch ...
DeGeneres also teased him about no longer being People's "Sexiest Man Alive." He received the title in 2012 and last year, it was given to "The Voice" coach and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine (check out a video of his response).
"I think the only thing that you really pass on is the ability for your friends just to make complete fun of you for the rest of your life," he said. "Even my wife had a go at it. She called me the 'SMA.' It was like, 'SMA, can you get me coffee or something?' At least she didn't have to say the whole word."
5. Channing Tatum confirms he WILL be at the 2014 Oscars.
DeGeneres is hosting the 2014 Oscars on Sunday, March 2, which will mark her second time hosting Hollywood's biggest award show. Tatum appeared at the 2013 ceremony as a dancer -- he and Charlize Theron performed to the tune of Frank Sinatra's "The Way You Look Tonight" as host Seth MacFarlane sang. It was Tatum's first time at the Oscars and he got to walk the red carpet with his then-pregnant wife (watch VIDEO).
"It was by far the most nerve-wracking thing I've ever done in my life," the actor said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "I was just worried if I dropped Charlize, she would kill me and then my wife would have the baby, out in the audience, like immediately ... she was very pregnant."
Tatum said he will attend the 2014 Oscars. He took part in the Team Oscar project, a competition for college students to produce film shorts in which they explain why they deserve to go to the Oscars. The winners get to hand over Oscar statuettes to celebrity presenters on stage at the ceremony before the awards are given to the actual recipients.
