OTRC: 'The Walking Dead' cast members joke, sing on 'Conan': 7 best moments

The cast of AMC's 'The Walking Dead' (Norman Reedus, Andrew Lincoln, Lauren Cohen, Steven Yeun and Melissa McBride) appear on Conan O'Brien's talk show 'Conan' on Feb. 6, 2014 to talk about the second part of season 4 ahead of its midseason premiere on Sunday. (TBS)

Stars of AMC's hit zombie series "The Walking Dead' -- Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon), Lauren Cohan (Maggie Greene), Steven Yeun (Glenn Rhee), Danai Gurira (Michonne) and Melissa McBride (Carol Peletier) -- appeared on Conan O'Brien's talk show "Conan" on Thursday, Feb. 6, ahead of the season 4 midseason premiere.

This marked the first joint interview for the cast on a late-night talk show. Andrew Lincoln, who plays main character Rick Grimes, was scheduled to join his co-stars but had to cancel due to illness and remained in his native London, O'Brien revealed.

The "Walking Dead" season 4 midseason premiere airs on Sunday, Feb. 9. Check out 7 highlights from the cast's appearance on "Conan."

1. Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun talk about the proposed romance for Daryl and Glenn.

Fans have been waiting in anticipation to see who will be the first person to serve as Daryl's love interest on the show. In a video interview posted on EW in October 2013, Reedus joked that Daryl should hook up with Glenn.

"That's a season 7 B-storyline that could really take off," Yeun joked on "Conan." "You see them go off on a run and then one person falls and then the person falls on the other person and then they touch lips ..."

Yeun and Cohan appeared by themselves early on in the show before they were joined by Reedus, McBride and Gurira. While the five were seating, O'Brien asked Reedus about the bromance idea. He and Yeun then held hands -- over McBride's shoulder -- for several seconds.

"I mean maybe we could be in the woods like, holding [expletive] fights," Reedus joked.

"I'm in," Yeun said.

2. Steven Yeun and Norman Reedus are asked about being on People's 2013 "Sexiest" list.

Both Yeun and Reedus were included in People magazine's 2013 "Sexiest Man Alive" issue, which featured Adam Levin as the titleholder. Reedus was seen in a video together with his cat, Eye In The Dark, while Yeun was given his own page in the print version of the magazine under the headline "Sexy Man of the Week."

"This is not accurate," Yeun said on "Conan." "This sexy thing doesn't make sense. It's a weird situation to be asked to be in that thing because that's not me and I have something that shows who I really am."

A childhood photo of the actor was then shown -- the pictured showed Yeun wearing glasses, a windbreaker, jeans, a fanny pack and a paper crown and standing next to a woman dressed in costume at Medieval Times, a theme restaurant.

3. Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride sing the "Daryl and Carol" song.

Reedus once joked that Carol and Daryl should have a spinoff show that features the characters in Central Park after all the squirrels go missing that features a theme song. He sang a different variation of it on "Conan" -- with McBride

"Daryl is feral and Carol is sterile," they recited, holding hands. "A match made in hell."

4. Danai Gurira freaked out car wash attendants with Michone's swords.

The actress said that she has kept several of her characters' katana swords in her car's trunk after rehearsals. This made for an awkward conversation at a car wash.

"I have had some guys who wash the car going, 'What's up with this? What are these?'" Gurira told O'Brien. "'Just leave that alone. Don't play with that.'"

5. Norman Reedus freaked out his grade school teacher.

O'Brien asked the actor if he was a a horror fan as a kid.

"My favorite movie growing up was 'The Omen,'" Reedus replied. "I used to have a second or third grade teacher that I would stare at like I was Damoien.

"She came up to me at the end of the year and she was like, 'Why do you hate me?' I was like, 'I don't hate you. What are you talking about?'" he said. "But I was so enthralled I could make somebody older than me squirm. So I would just stare at her all the time. She would get so nervous and shake and I was just .... 'Yeah...'"

6. Lauren Cohan and Steven Yeun talk about "Gleggie."

Many fans use the term "Gleggie" while "shipping," or promoting the relationship of Glenn and Maggie, which began after they slept together in an abandoned pharmacy they had ransacked for supplies in season 2. O'Brien asked them about it.

"Sounds like a disease," Cohan said.

"It's a throw-up sound," Yeun added.

"The alternative, we realized, is Menn," Cohan said.

"Menn is good," Yeun said. "With two N's."

Yeun was also teased about Glenn and Maggie's first kiss.

On a season 2 episode, Glenn and Maggie hook up in a pharmacy they have ransacked for supplies and he keeps his eyes open. O'Brien poked fun at his technique.

"OK, this is the thing -- in that moment Glenn is confused because he's like, 'This beautiful woman is about to kiss me for just being here?' So, it's a shock to him," Yeun said. "He's a participant and an observer at the same time. He's an efficient guy."

"And at the end when I said to you, 'Were your eyes open?' and you said, 'No, now I know you were lying," Cohan joked.

"My bad," Yeun said.

7. Yeun has an interesting theory about "The Walking Dead" zombies (walkers).

"Yeah, it seems great [to be a zombie]," Cohan said.

"Just chilling," Yeun said. "I've said it before, you don't know if they're loving it. They could be having moaning orgasms the entire time and we don't know that."

Bonus funny moment unrelated to the "walking Dead" cast - O'Brien presented what he called the first lesbian zombie kiss, which consisted of two women dressed as walkers attempting to lock lips on stage.
