The shooting occurred near 6th Street and Shatto Place around 12:30 a.m.
The victims were found in the middle of the street.
Clay Allen Casey Sr., 49, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two women were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening wounds.
A suspect was arrested near the scene of the crime after crashing his car.
