OTRC: Karen O to perform at Oscars, sing 'Her's 'The Moon Song' (Audio)

Karen O is the latest Oscar-nominated artist set to perform during the ceremony on March 2.

It was announced on Feb. 13 that he Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer will perform the track "The Moon Song" from the soundtrack to the Spike Jonze-directed film "Her." The movie stars the likes of Joaquin Phoenix, Scarlett Johansson, Amy Adams, Rooney Mara and Olivia Wilde.

The Grammy-nominated musician previously worked with Jonze on the soundtrack for the film adaptation of the classic children's book "Where The Wild Things Are" in 2009. She has also appeared on soundtracks for the films "Frankenweenie," "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and "I'm Not There."

"The Moon Song" is nominated in the Original Song category at the 2014 Oscars. Other nominees include "Ordinary Love" from the film "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom" performed by U2, "Let it Go" from Disney's "Frozen" performed by Idina Menzel and "Happy" from the animated feature "Despicable Me 2" performed by Pharrell Williams.

Menzel and U2 were previously announced as performers ahead of the Oscars ceremony.
