The first official full-length trailer for the anticipated Marvel movie "Guardians of the Galaxy" has been released!
The video debuted on the ABC talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Tuesday, Feb. 18. The film is based on the cult-classic comic book by the same name and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel and wrestler Dave Bautista as well as Bradley Cooper, who portrays the animated Rocket Raccoon.
"Guardians of the Galaxy" focuses on American pilot Peter Quill, played by Pratt, who "finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt" after stealing an orb coveted by the villain Ronan, played by Lee Pace, according to a statement from distributor Walt Disney Studios. Saldana plays Gamora and Bautista portrays Drax the Destroyer. Diesel plays Groot, a tree-like humanoid. Quill forges an uneasy truce with the group in order "to evade the ever-persistant Ronan."
