Bruce Dern is a history book of acting. He first appeared on camera in 1960 and on Broadway two years before that. His films include the 1974 version of 'The Great Gatsby' and his Oscar-nominated work for 1978's 'Coming Home.' That was for a supporting role.
Now, 36 years later, he will walk the red carpet again on Oscar Sunday, this time for his leading role in 'Nebraska.'
