The incident occurred on the 2500 block of Washington Boulevard around 3:55 a.m.
The female driver was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Police say the passengers who were in her car fled the scene.
The car has been removed from the pharmacy.
The California Highway Patrol is leading the investigation. The building is being inspected for structural damage.
