210 West back open in Pasadena area after body found on road

PASADENA, Calif.

California Highway Patrol reopened all lanes at around 7:40 a.m. Officials say a man's body was found on one of the westbound lanes at approximately 3 a.m. near the Windsor Avenue exit.

Authorities say at least one vehicle struck the body, but it remains unclear exactly how the body got to the freeway in the first place. Investigators say evidence from the scene as well as witnesses points to a likely suicide.

CHP Sgt. Barry K. Jones said sheriff's officials received a report of a disturbance at a nearby Jack in the Box, and the deceased man fits the description of the suspect involved. Details surrounding the disturbance report were not immediately available.
