Pippa Middleton recently joked that her body-hugging bridesmaid gown at the 2011 Royal Wedding, which made her famous worldwide, "fitted a little too well."
The 30-year-old wore a cowl-neck, ivory, silk charmeuse mermaid-style gown by Alexander McQueen designer Sarah Burton and carried her sister Kate Middleton's train as she walked down the aisle at her wedding to Prince William at Westmintser Abbey in London. Pippa talked about her look at the Women in Advertising and Communications dinner in the city on Tuesday.
"As I have found out, recognition has its upside, its downside and -- you may say -- its backside," Pippa told an audience of about 400 people, according to E! Online, adding that she was "glad it fitted" and that "in retrospect, it fitted a little too well."
Pippa, a writer, talked about her dress in her 2012 book "Celebrate" as well.
"It is a bit startling to achieve global recognition (if that's the right word) before the age of 30, on account of your sister, your brother-in-law and your bottom," she wrote, according to the UK newspaper The Telegraph.
