The incident occurred in the 4600 block of East Alondra Boulevard shortly before 1 a.m. Monday. Authorities say no other injuries were reported.
Detectives say the victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity was not released pending family notification.
There was no suspect description available and a motive for the attack remains unknown.
