Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's former home was recently the scene of a major theft of more than $200,000 worth of property, police say.
Police said in a statement obtained by OTRC.com that a report was filed and stated that property was taken from Kardashian and Odom's former home around 4 p.m. on Monday, March 3. The 7-bedroom, 9-bathroom house is located in Tarzana, a suburban community in the Los Angeles area.
The LAPD would not confirm if what took place was a burglary or robbery, only that between $200-250,000 in property was taken. Burglary differs from robbery in that it is the intent to break into a building without consent, while robbery includes the threat of violence. Police also did not specify what exactly was taken from the home.
UPDATE:The LAPD confirmed that a robbery took place at the home and that jewelry and other items were stolen. Finger prints were additionally recovered by investigators on the scene. Kardashian also tweeted about the incident to her more than 9 million Twitter followers (Warning: tweet contains expletive).
"Thieves ... Someone's about to have some bad Karma coming their way. And that b---- NEVER forgets!!!!," Kardashian said.
It is unclear if Kardashian or Odom are currently living in the home while it is on the market. During the couple's well-documented split, Kardashian has been staying with family members, as seen on her E! reality series "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." She has referred to the home as containing "darkness" and "no life" in light of her marital troubles.
