Lindsay Lohan is determined to prove she's ready to rebuild her life in her new reality show, but Oprah Winfrey might need more convincing.
The first trailer for Lohan's Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) reality series, titled "Lindsay," was released late Tuesday, March 4 and can be viewed here (Warning: video contains expletives).
The "Lindsay" trailer showcases the embattled actress making amends with her family, confessing to feeling like a prisoner "all the time" and in a stern conversation with Winfrey after failing to follow through with filming commitments. Winfrey expresses her disappointment for the situation, saying that despite being warned that Lohan was uncooperative, she had believed differently.
"My truth is, that I really do want you to win. I really do," Winfrey said to Lohan. "If that isn't what you want, I'm okay with that. I will tell these guys to pack up and leave today. You need to cut the [expletive], you really do."
The clip also shows Lohan in a heated conversation with her father, Michael Lohan, who like the actress has faced his own demons in the public eye. The "Mean Girls" star has often spoke of her father in the press as being a toxic force in her life and while she is aiming to get her life back on track, her father seemingly continues to live in denial of any wrongdoing on his end.
"See, now you're getting me angry, because you weren't good for me for a long time," the actress said.
"Well, if that's what you believe, that's fine, honey," her father said.
"Lindsay" premieres on OWN on Sunday, March 9 at 10/9c (check local listings). Will you watch Lohan's reality show? Let us know in our poll below.
