Jimmy Kimmel fans - prepare to become very, very hungry!
While filming his late night talk show from Austin, Texas at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival, Kimmel and his sidekick Guillermo embarked on a search for the best barbecue joint, ultimately deciding between four different, yet delicious, locations. Kimmel dubbed the search "The Bachelor Barbecue" in the clip, which can be viewed below.
During his "Bachelor Barbecue" quest, Kimmel tried a variety of plates at four different restaurants - Franklin Barbecue, Micklethwait Craft Meats, John Mueller Meat Co. and La Barbecue - all of which were vying for his affection, and appetite. Upon deliberation, Kimmel seemed keen on the food offered at one restaurant, but still had difficulty picking just one.
"I would have sex with that brisket [from La Barbecue], I really would that's how delicious it was," Kimmel said. "Everything I tasted was incredible, this is going to be the hardest decision of my life."
Ultimately, Kimmel could not chose just one in the "Bachelor Barbecue," offering each restaurant employee if they would accept a rib, much like a rose is offered on ABC's "The Bachelor," to unanimous yeses from all parties.
Kimmel took the "Bachelor Barbecue" sketch as an opportunity to mock Juan Pablo Galavis of "The Bachelor," who infamously did not propose to winner, Nikki Ferrell, in the season finale on March 10.
"You see, Juan Pablo, that's how you propose," Kimmel said.
Galavis has since received backlash following his tumultuous season and subsequent behavior at the "After The Final Rose" special following "The Bachelor" season finale on Monday.
