Lancaster pellet gun vandalism suspects arrested

LANCASTER, Calif.

During the weekend of Feb. 22, deputies say there were approximately 67 cases of vandalism in Lancaster. Several businesses, homes and vehicles had their windows shot out with a pellet gun.

Deputies arrested 20-year-old Koty Jewkes on Tuesday at a home in the 2600 block of Via Ramona. He was booked on suspicion of felony vandalism, assault with a deadly weapon and shooting at an inhabited vehicle. Jewkes is being held on $230,000.

Elijah Pointer and Kevin White were arrested on Thursday at a home in the 1300 block of Rosamont Boulevard. Investigators said pellet guns and other pieces of evidence were found in both residences. Ages for Pointer and White were not immediately released.

Pointer was booked on suspicion of Felony vandalism and White was booked on suspicion of conspiracy. Both are being held on $50,000 bail a piece.
