Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy head back to the big screen in the upcoming film "Muppets Most Wanted."
The two appear alongside their Muppet friends in the film, which sees the gang going on a global tour and getting into trouble after a Kermit look-alike thief named Constantine trades places with Kermit and gets him sent to a Russian prison.
The movie also stars Ricky Gervais, Tina Fey, "Modern Family" star Ty Burrell and includes a slew of celebrity cameos from stars like Salma Hayek, Tom Hiddleston, Stanley Tucci, Christoph Waltz and more.
The duo talked to OTRC.com recently about their new film, the wedding dress featured in the movie, their long lasting careers and more. Miss Piggy also gave us a bit of her infamous diva attitude.
Check out highlights from the interview with Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog below and watch video from their interview above.
1. Miss Piggy is as sassy as ever.
Miss Piggy showed off her sassy side while talking to George Pennacchio of KABC Television, which produces the syndicated entertainment show "On The Red Carpet" and OTRC.com.
After Kermit revealed most of the film was shot in Pinewood Studios, Miss Piggy mentioned that the film and television studio was located in England. Pennacchio said he knew that.
Miss Piggy responded, "Well how am I supposed to know you know these things?"
She later added, "Well, you look like an amateur to me."
Another zinger Miss Piggy said to Pennacchio was, "Well I mean, who would wear a black vest underneath a gray suit?"
Kermit later explained that Miss Piggy's behavior just meant "that she loves you. That's the way it works."
"That's how divas show love," Miss Piggy added.
2. The wedding dress Miss Piggy wears in the film is by Vivienne Westwood and Kermit was relieved that Miss Piggy couldn't keep it.
Kermit admitted the wedding dress made him a little nervous, but "the fortunate part is she did not get to keep her wardrobe. So I think we're ok. I think I made it."
Miss Piggy responded, "I could talk to Vivienne Westwood..."
"No, no, please don't talk to Vivienne," Kermit said. "Very busy lady. She's working all the time."
(Side note: Miss Piggy also wore Vivienne Westwood to the "Muppets Most Wanted" Hollywood premiere earlier this month.)
3. Both Miss Piggy and Kermit think "Muppets Most Wanted" is better than the 2011 film "The Muppets."
When asked if they preferred "Muppets Most Wanted" over "The Muppets," Miss Piggy said, "Well I would say so."
"We really do think that. Yes. We love it," Kermit said.
Miss Piggy added, "We really, truly think that and you want to know why?"
Kermit asked, "Why?"
Miss Piggy said, "Because you don't have to wait 20 minutes before I get on screen. Ok? I'm right there -- boom! Right at the top."
"Muppets Most Wanted" hits theaters on March 21. Check out the trailer below.
