While ABC's "The Bachelor" season 18 finale did not have its fairytale ending, a contestant rejected by star Juan Pablo Galavis found love offscreen and took it a step further -- she got married!
Renee Oteri, who was eliminated from the dating reality show in the third-to-last episode and who had introduced her 9-year-old son to Galavis, which aired in late February, posted wedding pictures on her Instagram page on Thursday, March 20, saying she wed her "best friend of 22 years," Bracy Maynard. People magazine had reported on March 3 that the two were engaged.
Oteri wore a lace, white, halter wedding gown and carried a bouquet of what appeared to be pink and white lillies. Her son, Ben, who is from a previous relationship, served as the best man.
"I have never smiled like this. Ever:)" Oteri said on Instagram. "Thank you @andrialindquist for capturing this special day. And thank you @deshartsock for being my wingman!"
Desiree Hartsock, a bridal stylist and star of season 9 of sister series "The Bachelorette," who is engaged to winner Chris Siegfried, also tweeted about Oteri's wedding.
"So happy for such a beautiful couple!" Hartsock said. "I was lucky enough to witness love at its finest and feel so blessed to have met @floridaray18. I will let her post the others from her special day but can't help sharing a touching moment. The vows are always the best."
