It seems dreams really do come true.

Kim Kardashian has landed her first ever Vogue cover and she appears with fiance Kanye West. The two are on the cover of the magazine's April issue, which hits newsstands on March 31 and is available for digital download on March 24.

"This is such a dream come true!!! Thank you @VogueMagazine for this cover," Kardashian tweeted on Friday, March 21. "O M GGGGGG!!! I can't even breath!"

West tweeted, "#TRILL Thank you @voguemagazine."

UPDATE: Check out what Vogue Editor in Chief Anna Wintour said about the cover and why Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were chosen.

Kardashian is seen on the cover in what appears to be a strapless wedding dress and West is in a navy suit behind her, hugging the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star. The image was shot by photographer Annie Leibovitz.

"Kim & Kanye" the cover reads, "Their fashionable life and surreal times." The cover text also includes the hashtag "#WorldsMostTalkedAboutCouple."

Vogue posted a behind-the-scenes video, which can be viewed below, from the couple's photoshoot for the magazine and viewers get a glimpse of the couple's 9-month-old daughter North, who poses in a few photos with her parents. Kardashian is seen in the video wearing several white dresses.

The video is set to West's single "Bound 2." West and Kardashian appeared in the music video for the song and Seth Rogen and James Franco made a parody of their video shortly after it was released.

West has been talking about wanting to see Kardashian on the cover for a few months now. Back in October, he told Ryan Seacrest, "There's no way Kim Kardashian shouldn't be on the cover of Vogue. She's like the most intriguing woman right now. She's got Barbara Walters calling her like every day."

In the interview, West also addressed the time Vogue.com infamously cropped Kardashian out of a photo of her and West from their 2013 Met Gala photo gallery (slide No. 66) of best dressed celebrities at the event.

"Now for me, what I want to create isn't about black and white, but the reason why I'm not able to create what I want to create is about being black and is about classism. And that's that wall when I took [Kim] to the Met Ball and they put it up on Vogue.com and tried to say she wasn't there because they didn't want a reality show girl there," he told Seacrest.

Kardashian previously appeared in a spread for the July/August 2012 edition of Vogue Italia.
