Police say gunfire rang out outside the restaurant located near 6th Street and Long Beach Boulevard at 2:55 a.m.
Three people were transported to a local hospital, where they are now listed in stable condition. A fourth victim died at the scene.
Long Beach Boulevard was closed between 6th and 7th streets and 6th street, a one-way, was closed between Locust Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard.
The motive for the shooting remains unknown. Long Beach police are searching for a suspect.
Investigators believe the shooting may have been gang-related.
