Gwyneth Paltrow says she and husband Chris Martin are in "deep gratitude for the support of so many," three days after announcing on her goop.com blog that the two had decided to separate.
The 41-year-old Oscar-winning actress made her comments on the same lifestyle website, in a post about not cooking without wasting food, titled, " One Bird, Three Meals" and published on Friday, March 28.
"Our moms were raised by depression-era ladies who used a single tea bag for two cups of tea and never met a leftover they didn't eat. This issue of three delicious chicken recipes is in honor of our grandmothers, who taught us the good old-fashioned art of not wasting a scrap. Love, gp," she said, adding: "P.S. CM and I in deep gratitude for the support of so many."
Paltrow and Martin, the 37-year-old singer of Coldplay, announced their split on Tuesday, adding that they will "consciously uncouple" and also "coparent" their two children, daughter Apple, 9, and son Moses, 7. The celebrity pair wed in December 2003.
