Congrats to Sara Gilbert -- she's married!
The former "Roseanne" star and current co-host of the CBS show "The Talk" has married girlfriend Linda Perry, former singer of the band 4 Non Blondes.
The two tied the knot on Sunday, March 30, OTRC.com has confirmed. Gilbert's co-host Aisha Tyler said the two had "the most beautiful ceremony" during sunset, overlooking the ocean.
Sara announced her engagement in April 2013, saying that Perry proposed to her during a picnic in a park, using their "breaking song," John Waits' Missing You." (Check out more details about Linda Perry's marriage proposal to Sara Gilbert.) The two have been together for more than two years.
Perry, 48, is currently a solo rock musician. Her old band, 4 Non Blondes, broke up in the 1990s. The group is known for the 1993 radio hit, "What's Up."
This marks the first marriage for Sara, 39, and Perry, and follows a summer 2013 ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court that rejected a bid to halt same-sex marriages in California, where the two live. The decision followed a trial judge's ruling that declared the state's 2008 gay marriage ban, dubbed Proposition 8, to be unconstitutional.
Gilbert previously dated producer Alison Adler. The two share a son and daughter.
