A pedestrian was killed Wednesday during a three-car accident in Lake Forest, causing road closures during morning rush hour, Orange County sheriff's officials said.

The 52-year-old man, whose name was not immediately released, was killed near the intersection of Bake Parkway and Dimension Drive around 5:20 a.m., according to sheriff's Lt. Steve Gil.

AIR7 footage showed three vehicles stopped on the road. The driver, who remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, was heading eastbound when the collision happened, officials said.
