Miley Cyrus is mourning the loss of one of her dogs, Floyd.
The 21-year-old singer shared the news of Floyd's loss on her official Twitter account late Tuesday, April, posting photos of her with her beloved puppy (see above left and below).
"I don't wanna say it because I don't want it to be real ... But my precious baby Floyd has passed away. I am broken," Cyrus tweeted.
"I know I don't mean it but I wish he would've taken me with him this is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him?," she later tweeted.
Cyrus followed up her photo tweets with more, saying that she was "miserable" and apologized to fans in Boston, where she is scheduled to perform on April 2, if she is seemingly not herself during the show. She said, "I will try my best to be my best."
Floyd was one of Cyrus' five dogs in recent years. In December 2012, she mourned the loss of her puppy Lila. She is also a parent to dogs Happy, Ziggy and Mary Jane.
