The home is located near Broadway and 112th Street. Around 12:30 a.m., police received a call of shots fired in the neighborhood. When police arrived, they spotted a car taking off in the opposite direction, and a chase ensued.
The chase lasted for an unknown duration before the suspects, two women and a man, bailed out of their vehicle on-foot. The two women were immediately taken into custody. Police said the third suspect broke into an occupied home, spurring the standoff.
Most of the family members inside the home were able to get out, but a 12-year-old girl was stuck inside the home for sometime. She was rescued safely.
Some homes in the area were evacuated, police said. Broadway at 112th Street was closed during the standoff.
