Miley Cyrus has postponed all her remaining U.S. Bangerz tour dates and has added two extra concerts, as she continues to recover in a hospital from a "severe allergic reaction to antibiotics."
The 21-year-old pop star had checked into a medical center earlier this week, halting her "Bangerz" tour. Cyrus has since been tweeting updates about her condition and concert dates. (Warning: Her Twitter page contains explicit content)
She said that during her tour, she was suffering from a sinus infection and was prescribed the antibiotic Cephalaxin. She then had an allergic reaction to it.
"All remaining U.S. dates on the Miley Cyrus Bangerz tour have been postponed," read a message posted on Cyrus' official website on Friday, April 18. "Miley is continuing to recover from the severe allergic reaction she suffered on April 15. Existing tickets will be honored on the new dates, which include previously cancelled and postponed dates."
"Additionally, two tour dates have been added in Pittsburgh and Chicago. The European leg of the tour will proceed as planned," the message said.
