The fire was reported just before 8 p.m. on the 24800 block of Matterhorn Court.
According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, one person jumped from a second-story balcony and had to be airlifted out. Two other burn victims were transported to a hospital by ambulance. Their conditions were not immediately known.
Fire officials say a half-acre of vegetation and trees burned. Crews were expected to remain on scene through the night.
Authorities say aggressive action by firefighters from San Bernardino County, CAL FIRE and the U.S. Forest Service saved numerous homes.
