The crash happened at 9:26 a.m. The pilot and the passenger were transported to a local area hospital with minor injuries.
The pilot allegedly noted a fuel leak and made the forced landing in open park land near the tennis courts.
One-hundred gallons of aviation fuel were spilled. Hazmat crews cleaned up the fuel from the chopper that spilled onto the ground.
The FAA is investigating the incident.
