It's official! "Orange Is the New Black" has already been renewed for a third season, even though the second season doesn't premiere until June 6.
The writers of the women's prison dramedy tweeted out the news (Warning: Link contains explicit language) along with a picture that displayed titles for the third season's episodes.
Netflix also officially confirmed the news to OTRC.com on Monday, May 5.
Actress Laura Prepon, who plays inmate Alex Vause on the show, also tweeted the news (Warning: Link contains explicit language) on Monday with a similar picture of the season 3 titles.
"It's official!! Season 3!! #oitnb #alexvause #backtothebighouse," she wrote.
The actress previously told The Daily Beast (Warning: interview contains explicit language) in late April that she will appear in four episodes of season 2 and that she had agreed to appear in "every episode" if the show got a third season.
