Florida teen earns college degree before finishing high school

Grace Bush received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Florida Atlantic University on May 2. On Friday, she'll get her high school diploma from Florida Atlantic University High School.

Bush is part of her school's dual enrollment program, which allows high-performing high school students to earn credit for the same courses towards their college degree.

"I started when I was 13 at Broward College and I also took my classes throughout the summer, so I was able to finish it before four years. It's kind of weird that I graduated college before high school," Bush said.

She plans to pursue a master's degree in the fall and hopes to attend law school. Her goal is to someday become the chief justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.
