The incident happened around 4 p.m. Sunday at the construction yard for the new Greenspot Road Bridge near Greenspot and Santa Ana Canyon roads.
Two male suspects vandalized several pieces of construction equipment. Authorities say one suspect gained access to a large front loader and repeatedly rammed a construction crane. Damage was estimated at $30,000.
The suspects fled the scene before deputies were notified. Anyone with information was asked to call WeTip at (800) 78-CRIME. The sheriff's department says you may be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward.
