The nominees and the host of the 2014 BET Awards have been revealed!

The 2014 BET Award ceremony is set to air live on the cable network from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles on June 29 at 8 p.m. ET. It was revealed on the channel's hit show "106 & Park" on Tuesday, May 14, that the host is Chris Rock! The popular comedian and actor hosted the 2005 Oscars and the MTV Video Music Awards -- three times.

Power couple Beyonce and Jay Z received four 2014 BET Award nods each and are also both nominated twice in separate categories. Other music nominees include Drak and Chris Brown, who both received three nominations, British singer (and actress) Rita Ora and rapper Nicki Minaj.

Nominees in the non-music categories include Lupita Nyong'o and Chiwetel Ejiofor of "12 Years a Slave," is also nominated for Best Movie. It won Best Picture at the Oscars this year, while the actress took home an individual award for her supporting role and Ejiofor received a Best Leading Actor nod.

In the BET Awards 2014 Best Actress category, Nyong'o is up against the likes of "Scandal" star Kerry Washington, who took home the award last year, and Oprah Winfrey, who returned to acting last year with a role in "Lee Daniels' The Butler." The film is also nominated for Best Movie, as is the big-screen comedy documentary," Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain." Star and comedian Kevin Hart, who appeared in several hit comedy movies over the past year, is also nominated for Best Actor.

Other nominees include Disney Channel actress and singer Zendaya, teen actor Jaden Smith and Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant, who recently won the NBA's MVP award.
