The "Dancing With The Stars" season 18 finale took place on Tuesday, May 20, and one out of three celebrity finalists was awarded the mirrorball trophy after 10 weeks of performances. Spoiler alert!
On Tuesday, the remaining celebrities left in the ABC ballroom competition series -- Olympic gold medalist Meryl Davis, actress Candace Cameron Bure and Paralympic snowboarder Amy Purdy -- performed a new routine as part of a "24 Hour Fusion Challenge" where they fused two contrasting dance styles that they've performed during this season. The competitors had less than 24 hours to prepare that routine for judges' points.

Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy won "Dancing With The Stars" season 18. During the finale, the pair received 30 out of 30 points for their Foxtrot/Cha Cha Cha "Fusion Dance." On Monday, the two received 30 out of 30 points for their "Judges' Pick" Argentine Tango and 30 out of 30 points for their Freestyle, for a total of 90 out of 90 points.
This marks Chmerkovskiy's FIRST "Dancing With The Stars" win.
Amy Purdy and Derek Hough came in second place, while Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas finished third.
During Tuesday's show, James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd performed an encore of their Freestyle performance from Monday, May 19. (Read a RECAP of Monday's pre-finale performance episode of "Dancing With The Stars.")
The season 18 finale also saw Amy Purdy perform as part of Team Loca to the song "Livin' La Vida Loca." Back in Week 7, Purdy was set to perform with Danica McKellar, Bure and Davis -- along with their pro partners -- as part of Team Loca until she had to seek medical attention for a back injury and rehearsal footage of the group's routine was aired instead.
Several celebrity contestants returned to the ballroom to dance once again. Drew Carey and his pro-partner Cheryl Burke performed to "You Can't Sit Down," NeNe Leakes hit the stage with six pro dancers to perform a dance to "Grown Woman," Danica McKellar and Val Chmerkovskiy did an encore of their "Be Our Guest" routine and Charlie White and Sharna Burgess danced to "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious."
Speaking of White, he and his Olympic gold medalist partner, Davis, danced together on the show for the first time during the episode.
The episode was also packed with musical performances, including an appearance by last season's mirrorball trophy winner, Amber Riley, who performed "Do Your Thing" and her first single "Colorblind." Christina Perri sang her ballad "Human" and Iggy Azalea performed her hit with Charli XCX called "Fancy."
Former season 18 contestant Cody Simpson also hit the ballroom to sing his single "Surfboard" and Ariana Grande performed her single "Problem."
