Congratulations to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West!
The 33-year-old reality star and 36-year-old hip-hop singer and fashion designer, who share an 11-month old daughter, North West, wed at the Belvedere Fort in Florence, Italy on Saturday, May 24, according to E! Online.
While the date has been known for weeks, partially due to leaked invitations, the location of the couple's nuptials remained a mystery due to multiple conflicting reports. This marks the first marriage for Kanye and third for Kardashian, who was previously married to Kris Humphries and before that, to music producer Damon Thomas.
On Friday, designer Valentino hosted an intimate pre-wedding brunch for the couple at his Chateau de Wideville, a castle located near Paris. Among the attendees were Kim's sisters and co-stars Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian -- and partner Scott Disick and their son and daughter, half-sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner, mother Kris Jenner and stepfather Bruce Jenner.
The couple then held a lavish party at the Palace of Versailles. Lana Del Rey performed at the event, as seen in photos posted on Instagram. They then had their guests flown to Florence to watch Kim and Kanye say their vows at the Belvedere Fort on Saturday.
E!, whose parent network E! Entertainment Television airs the reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and its spinoffs, had reported that the couple had to keep their wedding to 100 guests.
Beyonce and husband Jay Z were invited but did not attend. However, Queen Bey posted on her Instagram page a messafe for the newlyweds.
"Wishing you a lifetime of unconditional love. God bless your beautiful family," she said.
