Sofia Vergara and fiance Nick Loeb have called it quits.
The 41-year-old actress, who plays Gloria on ABC's "Modern Family," revealed the news on her WhoSay page on Saturday. She cited their busy schedules as part of the reason for their split.
"Not that anyone should care, but in order to not give the press the chance to invent crazy and hurtfull drama, I prefer to tell my fans personally that Nick and I have desided to be apart (sic)," she said.
"We have being having too many problems with figuring out how to spend time together and becaouse of my work and now his, its been getting worse and worse, not fun anymore (sic)," she continued. "We are still very close but we belive is the best thing for us right now."
Loeb, 38, has not commented. He and Vergara got engaged in 2012 after dating for about two years. Loeb, the founder of the Crunchy Condiment Company, was pictured with the actress as recently as May 3, when they attended the 2014 White House Correspondents' Dinner (see above) and before that, on April 26, when British chef and Food Network star Madison Cowan tweeted a photo of himself with the two at a lunch.
