Married actors Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell, who share a 10-month-old baby boy, have split.
The news was reported by People magazine on Wednesday, May 28. It is unclear if divorce papers have been filed.
"Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell have decided to separate," the couple's spokesperson told the outlet. "They both love and respect one another and will of course remain committed to co-parenting their son. This is a mutual decision and the two remain close friends."
The actress married Bell, a 28-year-old British actor, on Oct. 30, 2012 and welcomed their son in July 2013. The two met several years beforehand and starred together in the 2005 Green Day music video for the ballad "Wake Me Up When September Ends," which depicts a couple's troubled relationship. Wood, 26, tweeted on Wednesday, "Twitter break for a while. ...to be continued." A day earlier, she announced her "song of the day" to be the Counting Crows' ballad "Colorblind," famously featured in a breakup aftermath scene in the 1999 cult teen film "Cruel Intentions."
