This was NOT his kind of night.
Country star Luke Bryan was injured after falling off the stage and in front of the crowd while singing a cover of "Can't Hold Us" by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis at his concert at PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina on Thursday night. The 37-year-old, who was recently named Country's Sexiest Man of 2014 by People magazine, appeared to recover quickly and continued singing.
"I'm good," Bryan tweeted. "Few stitches."
In February, Bryan had also taken a tumble while stepping up onto a platform at a concert in the North Carolina city of Greensboro, located 90 miles away.
Fans posted videos of his latest fall and which shows crew members rushing to the singer and another audience member making a thumbs down and tear gesture. Bryan maintained his sense of humor following the accident.
"The last time I was in North Carolina, I busted my [expletive]," he told the crowd, as seen in one fan-made video (warning: contains expletives). "What is it about North Carolina that makes me bust my [expletive], huh? Please, YouTube that [expletive], alright, right now."
