CHINO, Calif. (KABC) -- A 17-year-old suspect was arrested early Wednesday morning after a stolen car plowed into a home in Chino, authorities said.

According to the Chino Police Department, the collision happened about 1:30 a.m. in the 13100 block of Sycamore Avenue, where the vehicle careened through a gate and into the house.

The boy exited the car and fled on foot but was apprehended a short distance from the crash site, investigators said. His name was not released because he is a minor.

No one was hurt in the incident, whose impact left a bearing wall severely damaged and the home was later red-tagged.

It was not immediately clear if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash, police said.
