Glassdoor.com, a website that provides job hunting and career resources, released their list of the 25 best cities for jobs on Tuesday. Each city's ranking is determined by their respective job score, which is composed of factors like number of jobs available, cost of living, and residents' job satisfaction.

At the top of the list was Raleigh, N.C. with a job score of 4.1. Raleigh had 24,146 job openings for its population of 1.24 million.

Kansas City and Oklahoma City followed Raleigh in the second and third spot, each with a high number of available jobs, and an average median home value of $133,950 for both cities.

Also making the list were major Texas cities Austin, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Houston and San Antonio, with the cities boasting 239,931 total available jobs.

Although major metropolitan hubs like Chicago, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. were included on the list, New York City and Los Angeles were notably absent, likely due to those cities high cost of living, housing prices, and lower job availability.
