Fred Jordan Missions gives away back-to-school shoes to underprivileged kids in LA

Fred Jordan Missions and Foot Locker partnered to provide new shoes and socks for nearly 5,000 underprivileged children in Los Angeles on Thursday - just in time for the back-to-school season.

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Fred Jordan Missions and Foot Locker partnered to provide new shoes and socks for 5,000 underprivileged children in Los Angeles on Thursday - just in time for the back-to-school season.

The annual event, which is in its 29th year, also provided free clothes, school supplies, haircuts and In-N-Out burgers.

Fred Jordan Missions is open 365 days a year, and it has been providing assistance to impoverished families and individuals since 1944.
