Cool Kid Dylan Shiramizu strives to achieve dream despite challenges

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. (KABC) -- Our ABC7 Cool Kid for Thursday, Sept. 11, 2015 is Dylan Shiramizu, who is keeping a positive attitude and strength while battling a rare form of cancer to achieve his dreams.

Shiramizu dreams of playing in a band at Pacific Palisades Charter High School. His dream was almost a reality in 2014, but then he was diagnosed with cancer.

But he remains determined and has now been inspired to seek a career in medicine.
