LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A loud and clear message of unity was heard Tuesday, as the Los Angeles Unified School District launched its "Out for Safe Schools" campaign.
The program targets LGBTQ harassment, hazing and bullying in schools and sports by providing training for faculty and coaches.
The district is also developing the first comprehensive LGBTQ-inclusive American history curriculum for public schools.
