'Tacos for Teachers' campaign launched to support LAUSD strike

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A "Tacos for Teachers" GoFundMe campaign is helping out teachers and staff on the picket lines.

The fund is raising money to send local taco trucks to schools across the city for the duration of the Los Angeles Unified School District strike.

So far the account has raised more than $29,000.

Organizers say any extra funds will go to the Los Angeles advocacy group Alliance to Reclaim Our Schools.
