HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable is calling for the removal of Bill Cosby's star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Cosby has been a giant in Hollywood for decades, but earlier this week legal documents surfaced stating Cosby admitted to getting Quaaludes to give to women he wanted to have sex with.

Nearly four dozen women have come forward, accusing Cosby of sexual misconduct. His Walk of Fame star was vandalized last year, and now the activists want it gone.

But Cosby's star isn't the only one under fire. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is also getting requests to remove Donald Trump's star after his recent remarks about Mexican immigrants.

But in a written statement Chamber President Leron Gubler said the stars will stay.

"The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a registered historic landmark. Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame," the statement said.

Allison Martino, who runs the Vintage Los Angeles website, said the Walk of Fame includes a long list of celebrities with questionable pasts. Those celebrities range from silent film star Charlie Chaplin to pop star Michael Jackson, both of whom were accused of high-profile sex crimes.

While Cosby's star may not be removed, Disney did remove a statue of the "Cosby Show" star from one of its Florida theme parks earlier this week.
